Camp rules
Before downloading your booking form, please read the following rules.
Everyone who attends camp does so on the condition that they and their parent(s) accept these rules.
- Camp is centered around God’s word and all campers are expected to act accordingly and participate in all the organised activities.
- No noise on camp before 8.00 am.
- Duty Leaders and Duty Teams are to remain on the camp site for the day unless released by the Duty Leader.
- No-one will leave the camp site without the prior permission of the President for the day, and when off site campers must stay in minimum groups of four.
- Duties must be carried out carefully and completely.
- The Cook Tent & Store Tent is out of bounds. Leaders or those instructed by the Duty Leaders are the only persons allowed in these tents.
- No tenting or equipment is to be tampered with.
- Boys will not enter girls’ tents and girls will not enter boys’ tents.
- Luggage and personal effects will not be touched by anyone other than their owner.
- Radios, Tape/CD players, mp3 players, ipods, games consoles etc. will NOT be taken to camp.
- No mobile phones are to be taken to camp, the camp mobile phone is available to phone home at cost.
- Public houses are out of bounds.
- Smoking is strictly forbidden and the possession of matches or lighters is strictly forbidden
- Rubbish must not be thrown or left anywhere other than in the bins provided.
- No one will go in the sea unless they have permission from a leader and there is
a leader in attendance at the waters’ edge.
- NO AIRBEDS OR INFLATABLES WILL BE TAKEN INTO THE WATER.
- The camp is to quieten down after “Lights Out” and NO-ONE IS ALLOWED OFF SITE.
- Everyone is expected to keep to The Countryside Code and respect the owners land.
- The Leaders have the authority to send home any member or members who, in their
judgment, willfully disregards any of these rules.
